Adults-only companionship

Venus is an adaptive AI companion for adults who are at least 18. It supports conversation, creativity, emotional support, and roleplay. Project Venus is operated by TanyaLabs, based in Belgrade, Serbia ("TanyaLabs", "we", "us"). Sexual or exploitative content involving minors, people presented as minors, or ambiguous-age characters is prohibited and refused.

Consent and boundaries

Personal or romantic conversation is optional and user-led. Users can set hard and soft boundaries, disable romantic conversation, stop a scene, switch personality, or return to normal conversation. A stop, lack-of-consent, or child-safety signal overrides character style and roleplay. A fictional scenario never supplies consent for a real person.

AI transparency and real-world decisions

Venus must not claim to be human. The app requires an AI-disclosure acknowledgement, and the interface identifies Venus as an AI companion. Emotional warmth and roleplay do not make the companion a real person, conscious partner, emergency service, or professional adviser. AI responses can be wrong or unexpected, so verify important information and do not rely on Venus for medical, legal, financial, or emergency decisions.

Safety controls and limited review

Automated safety controls may analyze prompts, responses, safety signals, and related technical information to detect and block prohibited content, abuse, or security threats. When a control, report, support request, or suspected incident raises a serious concern, authorized human reviewers may examine limited relevant information to investigate and respond. Training consent is separate: opting out of model training does not turn off essential safety and security processing.

Filters reduce risk but are not perfect. They may miss a violation or block a harmless request, and TanyaLabs does not promise that every interaction will be manually reviewed. Account-level safety restrictions can be reviewed by contacting [email protected].

What Venus does not allow

The Terms of Use prohibit using Venus for child sexual exploitation, incestuous sexual or romantic content, non-consensual sexual conduct, coercion, intimate-image abuse, credible threats, self-harm or violent wrongdoing instructions, stalking, doxxing, extortion, fraud, malware, privacy or rights violations, unlawful activity, or attempts to bypass safety and account controls. A fictional, academic, or roleplay label does not excuse prohibited conduct.

Enforcement and lawful reporting

We may refuse requests, limit features, block content, or restrict, suspend, or terminate accounts that create a serious safety, security, or legal risk. Where reasonably necessary and permitted or required by law, we may preserve relevant records, respond to valid legal process, refer suspected criminal conduct to law-enforcement or appropriate child-safety authorities, cooperate with lawful investigations, and pursue available civil remedies. Government authorities decide whether to investigate or bring criminal charges.

Good-faith safety work

Lawful reporting, prevention, education, recovery, journalism, and safety research are not prohibited merely because they discuss a difficult subject. They must not include illegal material, meaningfully facilitate harm, target a person, or evade safeguards. Report a suspected bypass responsibly; do not exploit it, publish harmful instructions, or repeatedly generate prohibited content to prove it exists.

What to report

Report child-safety concerns, safety bypasses, coercive or exploitative output, threats, privacy problems, account compromise, or an incorrect account-level restriction to [email protected]. Include the account email, approximate time, and a concise description, but do not email passwords, identification documents, illegal material, or unnecessary private details.

Real-world help
